Heavy duty plastic shelving units with protective coated strong box section electroplated steel frame and antibacterial coated removable solid plastic shelves. An ideal system for use in hygienic environments where heavier loads need to be stored.

Manufacturing Process

Mild steel is washed and coated with Zinc substrate for extra protection, then coated with polyester powder resin which is hard baked to form a hard wearing corrosion resistant finish that is guaranteed for up to 10 years. This process is applied to shelves and posts to provide all-round protection and lasts 5 times longer than nylon coating.

Antibacterial Coating

Tested to confirm that manufacturing process has antibacterial effect; tests showed 99% growth retardation or more of E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Salmonella choleraesius, Klebsiella pneumonia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
