Type 160 slotted angle sections for building bespoke structures, slots accept fixings (screws and nuts) to bolt together different sections, just add corner plates for angle joints and base plates for stability to complete the assembly of anything required!


Each pack contains:

  • 5 x type 160 angle sections
  • 40mm(w) x 40mm(d) x 2.00mm(gauge) x 3048mm(l)
  • Choose from pre-galvanised or powder coated finish
  • Fixings sold separately: to calculate the number of nuts and screws needed, multiply the number of corners and joints by three

Designed to be a truly multi-purpose product, Dexion Slotted Angle can be used to construct nearly any storage or support systems. Whether it's building shelving, benches, access platforms, test rigs, security cages, temporary partitioning, or supporting cladding, pipe work and other construction projects, it gets the right angle on every job. Slotted Angle will provide self assembled, simple and fast solutions to many of the challenges of your warehouse, factory or construction site.

Available in 4 sizes, slotted angle sections come powder coated or galvanised and are easily cut down to size (using the cutting marks on the system) and bolted together to form a range of constructs. Each structure can be easily modified or disassembled so that the components can be reused.

  • Use 140 or 160 for normal structures and 225 and 260 for heavy duty purposes
  • When using 140 or 160 angle it is recommended that you use corner plates to ensure a rigid structure ' two plates for every corner
  • To calculate the number of nuts and screws needed, multiply the number of corners and joints by three
The angle and hole spacing allows any sections of slotted angle to be fitted together. The placing and dimension of the slots provides the maximum possible number of bolt connections. Corner plates can provide bracing at angle joints, while single and double base plates can be used to secure the structure to the ground or just protect the floor by fitting them to the end of vertical struts.
